The organizing committee wishes you all a happy New Year! We wish you lots of new exciting and creative projects, understanding, deep gratitude from the audience, as well as strong health and strong spirit!

Dear friends! we took it long with the results of the selection , as we have received a great amount of works from you, our participants. They were of high quality , both in the technical, and the artistic part. Among 200 films and 35 countries many of you have already had a list of awards and nomnations from prestigious international festivals. Yet, that was not the criteria for our choice. We have tried to be as objective in the pre-selection stage, as it was possible.

Preselection for the competition program is completed. The marks are being counted. The results of the selection for the longlist (competitive program) will be announced in the near future.

The deadline is over. We accept films sent up to the 1st of December inclusive. The works sent after the stated date will be automatically included in the participant list for the next year.

We have invited well-known independent filmmakers from different regions of the world as members of the Jury.
And now the Jury of the festival-cooperation joins Cory McAbee, director of the cult film "The American Astronaut" (2001) .

Dear participants!
Due to the requests of those filmmakres who are shooting films especially for our festival, our commitee decided to shift the deadline to December, 1st, 2011.
The festival will take place in January, the exact day is still under discussion. Follow our news!

To the question "How to find an opportunity to shoot a film?" the only simple and correct answer is: "to shoot a film". Not necessarily a full-length film, not necessarily with expensive actors, scenery and equipment. Today one can get the image corresponding to the aim and edit the film with little or no costs. But a original idea, a personal tone,enthusiasm of like-minded people can not be measured with any money. So you should shoot, try and experiment.

We are glad to present you our new partner - CologneOFF festival,known for its screenings all around the world.

Minsk filmschool was founded in 2009 to give everyone a chance to create a masterpiece as an actor, director or scriptwriter. The school involves international masters into the educational process, which is aimed at preparing top-notch professionals for the Belarusian cinema development. Apart from the theoretical classes, the filmschool offers numerous practical studies among which shooting your own "auteur film" is own of the options. Some of them will be soon available here .

The Alternative Youth Platform is taking part in the festival as our information partner. Now you can also learn about the Cinema Perpetuum Mobile events on the pages of this media issue.

Now it will be possible to see films awarded at Quest Europe in Belarus. The participants, whose films will be included in the competitive program of CPM, will get an opportunity of showing them in Poland and other European countries.

Kinoberlino invites participants of Cinema Perpetuum Mobile to cooperation filmfestival being held in Berlin on September 2-11, 2011. Sign up till August 20.

The Fund "Krevsk castle" announces a special award to individual competitors that will reflect in their films of the festival "Perpetual motion" problem of the historical and cultural heritage.

An unofficial presentation of the festival took place at "La mora" at 19.00, July 30.
